Placements24 is seeking a visionary Cloud Solutions Architect in Vereeniging to design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions. This hybrid role collaborates with technical teams and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into effective cloud architectures, leveraging AWS and Azure.

You will guide cloud strategy, drive adoption, and mentor teams while ensuring security, cost optimization, and compliance across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud computing.
• Proven experience designing and implementing solutions on AWS and/or Azure.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud networking, compute, storage, and database services.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and automation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud solutions on AWS and/or Azure.
• Develop comprehensive cloud migration strategies and roadmaps.
