Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Specialist to join the security team in a fully remote role. You will design, implement, and manage security controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP, embedding security into cloud deployments and CI/CD pipelines.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in information security with cloud focus, hands-on experience with major cloud platforms, and strong IAM/data protection know-how.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in information security, with a specialization in cloud security.
• Proven experience securing major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, data protection, and threat detection in cloud environments.
• Experience with cloud security tools and services (e.g., AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, Google Security Command Center).
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and security automation.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks relevant to cloud environments (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting.
• Relevant cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate) are highly desirable.
