About the Role

Our client is looking for a visionary Cloud Security Architect to design and implement secure cloud solutions for their operations, including those in Richards Bay. This role demands a deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and a passion for building secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructures. You will be responsible for defining cloud security strategies, implementing best practices, and ensuring compliance across all cloud environments. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust security architectures for multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Implement and manage cloud security tools such as cloud-native security services, CASB, and CSPM.
• Conduct security reviews of cloud infrastructure and applications, identifying and mitigating risks.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline and DevOps workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on cloud security architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security principles and services across major cloud providers.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and security automation.
• Relevant cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate) are required.
