Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Cloud Product Manager to identify opportunities, shape the cloud product portfolio, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative cloud solutions. The role requires strong Azure/AWS expertise, 5+ years in software or consulting, and the ability to drive product lifecycles across teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in software development or consulting
• Strong Azure and/or AWS knowledge
• 5+ years with cloud-based products
• Experience with IaaS, Private/Hybrid/Public cloud
• Knowledge of SPLA Licensing and backup/recovery advantageous
• Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, sales, marketing, finance and support
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and commercial skills
• Matric is required; degree/diploma in IT/IS preferred

Responsibilities

Job description

As a Cloud Product Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities to improve the existing or future product portfolio. You'll work closely with other internal teams to understand their needs and challenges. You'll then formulate solutions that meet these challenges in order to grow our business by developing new products and services. You may also need to identify the potential of adjacent markets or technologies, ensuring we're well placed for growth in any market where it's relevant.

Responsibilities:

• The primary responsibility is to use market, client, industry and technology focus to provide context to the strategy of new/existing products/offers within the Practice portfolio
• Builds and maintains relationships with technology vendors to ensure that the Cloud Technology stack is commercially viable for the company
• Confers with customers on specifications and overall strategy to develop cloud infrastructure.

• Knowledge of SPLA Licensing and Backup and Recovery will be highly advantageous
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, sales, marketing, finance and support teams
