Job summary

Hire Resolve in Johannesburg is seeking a Cloud Product Owner to lead the evolution of cloud services across AWS and Microsoft Azure. You will own the product backlog, translate business needs into prioritised initiatives, and drive delivery of secure, scalable enterprise platforms.

You will collaborate with engineering, architecture and operations, champion Agile practices, monitor performance and costs, and push continuous improvement to stay ahead of cloud trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Engineering/Business.
• 8+ years’ product ownership or management experience.
• Experience delivering enterprise cloud platforms.
• Strong AWS and/or Azure expertise.
• Experience in large enterprise environments, preferably financial services.
• Experience with landing zones, cloud networking, IAM, Kubernetes, serverless, databases, and integration platforms.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, governance, ITIL/SRE, disaster recovery, DevOps and CI/CD.

Purpose of the role:

The Cloud Product Owner (CPO) is responsible for the operational ownership and continuous improvement of cloud products and services across AWS and Microsoft Azure.

The Cloud Product Owner achieves this by:

• Managing the cloud service catalogue
• Prioritising and refining the product backlog
• Translating Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) strategy into executable initiatives
• Driving operational excellence across cloud services
• Supporting continuous improvement and cloud adoption
