Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking an experienced software engineer with 3+ years of success in delivering systems in fintech, payments, banking, messaging, credit, e‑commerce or logistics. The role requires AWS expertise, basic networking, and hands-on work with serverless or containerized architectures.

You will use Python, Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript, and implement infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation, guiding architectural decisions and leading technical teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with commercially successful systems in fintech, payments, banking, messaging, credit, e‑commerce or logistics.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Proficiency in Python, Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with AWS and basic networking.
• Knowledge of serverless or containerized applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead software engineering and technical leadership for projects in specified industries.
• Architect and oversee delivery of systems within fintech, payments, banking, messaging, credit, e‑commerce or logistics.
• Identify and troubleshoot system and integration challenges; work to resolve performance and reliability issues.
• Collaborate with teams to implement AWS-based, serverless or containerized solutions.
