Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a software development professional to contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of large distributed systems in an agile setting. You will work with AWS services, REST/SOAP web services, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring robust solutions and clear documentation.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, up-to-date best practices, and the ability to troubleshoot and implement improvements across multiple platform components.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and maintaining large distributed systems in an agile environment.
• Strong AWS cloud experience (Lambda, S3, SQS, Step Functions, CloudWatch).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar).
• Experience with Web Services (SOAP/REST) and parsing JSON/XML data.
• Ability to troubleshoot customer issues and contribute to documentation and new features.

Responsibilities

• Interface with technical personnel to finalize requirements.
• Write and review detailed specifications for system components.
• Collaborate with team to translate requirements into software designs.
• Implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.
• Operate in Agile or Waterfall environments while coordinating with stakeholders.
