Job summary

Network Finance is seeking a cloud engineer to design and implement Azure-based solutions, focusing on IaC with Terraform/Bicep, networking, security, and governance.

You will contribute to landing zones, DevOps pipelines, and cloud migrations, while collaborating in an Agile environment. A hybrid work model is offered with opportunities for learning and career growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in Cloud Engineering (Intermediate level) or more for Senior roles.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency in Python and/or PowerShell.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Bicep.
• Good understanding of Azure Networking, Azure Security, Azure Compute & Storage, Identity & Access Management.
• Exposure to Azure Governance, Landing Zones, and multi-subscription environments.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS.
• Understanding of DevOps principles, Git workflows, and CI/CD methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments.
• Passion for continuous learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Bicep
• Deliver Azure landing zones, cloud platforms, and application environments
• Configure and manage Azure networking and security services, including: VNets, NSGs, Private Link, Azure Firewall
• Implement identity and access management using Entra ID and RBAC
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or equivalent tooling
• Support cloud governance through Azure Policy and management groups
• Assist with cloud migration projects and platform modernisation initiatives
• Build automation solutions using scripting and programming languages
• Contribute to monitoring, observability, alerting, and operational excellence
• Identify opportunities for cloud cost optimisation and efficiency improvements

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Proficiency in Python and/or PowerShell
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Bicep
• Good understanding of:
  • Azure Networking
  • Azure Security
  • Azure Compute & Storage Services
  • Identity & Access Management
• Exposure to Azure Governance, Landing Zones, and multi-subscription environments
• Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS
• Understanding of DevOps principles, Git workflows, and CI/CD methodologies
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• A passion for continuous learning and professional development
