Job summary

Africa Health Care is seeking a Clinical Facilitator at Royal Buffalo Specialist Hospital in the Eastern Cape. The role coordinates nursing training, mentors staff and students, and drives CPD and quality initiatives.

You will plan risk-based in-service training, participate in incident investigations, assist in student examinations, and support research projects within the hospital environment. A strong focus on education and professional nursing standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Nursing with appropriate specialization.
• Current registration with SANC and registered assessor status.
• Post-registration nursing experience in healthcare environment.
• Proven clinical leadership and knowledge of nursing legislation.
• Driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver clinical nurse training to ensure competence.
• Co-manage CPD and other programs for nurses and students.
• Plan and monitor risk-based in-service training and contribute to quality initiatives.
• Participate in selection, supervision, and evaluation of student programs.
• Support research projects and provide feedback to Learning Centre and HOD.
• Promote the nursing profession through marketing and community events.
