The Clinical Facilitator at Mediclinic Southern Africa plans and facilitates training and development interventions to ensure the competency of all nursing staff across hospital units.

You may be allocated to a specialist unit (e.g., ICU) or work across nursing units to assess learning needs, design relevant programmes and monitor outcomes. Strong nursing knowledge and a postgraduate qualification in nursing education are essential, based in Bloemfontein on-site.

Qualifications

• Professional Nurse qualification and a Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing Education.
• Alternatively, 3 years of mentor experience with a Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing and an Assessor course.
• Certificate of competence in Generic Assessment (Assessor course) if Clinical Facilitator in a specialist unit.

Responsabilités

• Develop the competence of all nursing staff.
• Ensure the correct application of nursing procedures and policies.
• Identify training needs to guide the development of appropriate clinical training interventions.
• Promote a culture of continuous professional development.
