Bupa UK in Maidstone is seeking a Clinical Counselling Psychologist to join our Mindplace service on a face-to-face basis. You will provide high-quality therapeutic care, assessments, and education to support our customers to live longer, healthier, happier lives.

Qualifications

• Professional doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology accredited by the British Psychological Society.
• Health and Care Professions Council registration as a Chartered Clinical/Counselling Psychologist.
• General adult mental health experience.
• At least 1 year’s post-qualification clinical experience.
• Desirable: Training and accreditation in specialized areas of psychological relevance.
• Desirable: Corporate experience.
• Desirable: Excellent leadership and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality therapeutic care with excellent clinical outcomes.
• Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations for evidence-based intervention.
• Offer different models of service delivery: face-to-face, telephone, or video consultations.
• Adhere to Bupa’s case management processes and collaborate with Clinical Leads and the therapy team.
• Work within sessional limits based on the client’s Private Medical Insurance allowance.
• Provide signposting or onward referrals as needed.
• Offer ad-hoc wellbeing support and coaching.
• Conduct one-off assessments and referral recommendations.
• Provide group psychoeducation and mental health awareness through remote presentations, workshops, and training.
• Work autonomously within professional guidelines and Bupa’s service policies.
• Attend regular clinical supervision and monthly team meetings.
• Collaborate with the operational and clinical team to improve client and employee experiences.
