Job summary

Old Mutual South Africa is seeking a proactive Customer Service Associate in the North West region (Wolmaransstad). You will handle standard inquiries, support CRM data accuracy, receive visitors, and assist with information requests, following established scripts and procedures to deliver reliable service.

You will interview customers to clarify needs, identify sales opportunities, perform data input into spreadsheets, and support business development activities while adhering to compliance

Qualifications

• NQF Level 5 or equivalent required.
• Experience with customer service processes and data handling is desirable.
• Ability to follow established procedures and comply with codes of conduct.

Responsibilities

• Carry out standard customer service activities and handle simple customer inquiries.
• Assess compliance with established standards and protocols for routine inquiries.
• Receive visitors and assist with information requests; refer complex matters to colleagues.
• Ensure basic customer details in the CRM are accurate and note follow-up actions.
• Interview customers to clarify needs using a multilevel sales script.
• Make calls or meet potential customers to develop relationships and follow up on queries.
• Follow mandatory procedures to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Support routine business development tasks and assist colleagues with procedures.
• Identify potential customers by collecting referrals and information from existing clients.
• Input data into spreadsheets or standard formats for reporting and analysis.
• Demonstrate understanding of networking value by engaging with internal and external contacts.
