Job summary

Metropolitan is looking for a sales professional to attract, acquire and retain clients by selling company products and generating new business in the Western Cape. The role includes providing after-sales service to improve client retention and grow market share for long-term viability.

The ideal candidate holds a Matric/N4, FAIS DOFA compliance, and regulatory examinations if already in financial services, with 2–3 years in sales, strong computer literacy, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Matric/N4 or equivalent qualification.
• FAIS requirements based on DOFA date.
• Relevant regulatory examinations if you are already working in the financial services industry.
• 2–3 years in a Sales environment.
• Strong computer literacy skills.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Engage with prospect clients to understand their financial needs.
• Sell products that align with the clients’ financial requirements.
• Accurately record client information and sales details
• Achieve targets related to production, quality and conversion.
• Comply with legislative regulations and adhere to all compliance requirements.
