Placements24 is seeking a Facilities Cleaning Coordinator in Nelspruit on a contract basis. The role focuses on scheduling staff, monitoring service quality, managing supplies, and upholding health and safety standards across Mpumalanga locations.

The ideal candidate has cleaning operations or administrative experience, strong organizational skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset. Travel to client sites within Mpumalanga may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning services, facilities management, or administrative support.
• Must be based in or able to travel to Nelspruit, Mpumalanga.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the scheduling and deployment of cleaning staff to various client sites.
• Monitor the quality of cleaning services provided, conducting site inspections as needed.
• Manage and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Communicate with site managers and clients to address service needs and concerns.
• Assist in the training and onboarding of new cleaning personnel.
• Maintain accurate records related to cleaning activities, staff hours, and supply usage.
• Respond to immediate cleaning needs or emergencies as they arise.
• Support the Facilities Management team in coordinating overall site maintenance.
