Job summary

Amana Living is recruiting for a Cleaner based at James Brown Care Centre. This permanent part-time role involves keeping the aged care facility safe, spotless and welcoming, with 24 hours per fortnight and shifts on Wednesdays and Fridays from 07:00 to 13:00. You will contribute to a home-like environment and uphold high cleaning standards for residents each day.

The position offers regular, ongoing work with a focus on patient comfort and staff collaboration within our values-driven team.

Qualifications

• Current flu vaccinations per Amana Living policy.
• Ability to obtain National Police Clearance (within 6 months).
• Successful pre-employment medical and reference checks.
• NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain).

• Vacuums, sweeps, dusts and mops all designated areas.

The Position

Based at James Brown Care Centre, your role as a Cleaner is to ensure our aged care facility is a safe, spotless, and welcoming space for residents. Through attentive cleaning and care, you’ll help create an environment that feels like home. This is a permanent part-time role offering 24 hours per fortnight.

Wednesday and Friday 0700 - 1300

Essential Criteria

• Evidence of Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
• Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checks
• NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• Proven organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, as required
• Willingness to attend 1 day paid induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
