Job summary

Salt Employee Benefits is seeking a Specialist: Claims Approval to review, analyse and verify claims-related information for accurate processing. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify trends, improve processes and enhance customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will engage with team members, understand business challenges and troubleshoot issues to resolve them efficiently, while addressing PFA and FSCA related matters in compliance with legislation

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of FICA, POIA & TCF principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Stakeholder management experience.
• Industry knowledge and experience.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end claims processing, ensuring SLA compliance with PFA/FSCA.
• Perform quality assessments and approvals for withdrawal, death and disability claims.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare and present operational reports and dashboards.
• Manage relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support audit processes and respond to audit queries.
