Job summary

RINA in Eastern Cape, South Africa, is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our projects. You will support engineers and subcontractors, ensure schedules and budgets, analyze technical issues, interpret design drawings, and implement QC procedures.

You will coordinate with survey teams, procurement, and field activities, focusing on safety and timely delivery of projects. A collaborative environment and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Assists engineers and subcontractors to meet design requirements and project goals
• Supports alignment with project schedules and budgets
• Analyses and resolves technical issues in civil project files

Responsibilities

• Assists all engineering Superintendents and Subcontractors, ensuring compliance to project schedule and budgets
• Analyses, identifies and resolves technical issues in all files/projects and ensuring efficient interpretation of design drawings and installing Quality Control procedures
• Provides interface with design group, resolves Subcontractor issues, prepares reports on subcontractors and evaluates installation
• Coordinates with survey team, prepares work schedule per construction project, and collaborates with Suppliers and concrete to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
• Documents all civil field activities and performs regular inspections to check progress and safety programs
