Job summary

RINA in Eastern Cape, South Africa, is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our projects. You will support engineers and subcontractors, ensure schedules and budgets, analyze technical issues, interpret design drawings, and implement QC procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assists all engineering Superintendents and Subcontractors, ensuring compliance to project schedule and budgets
• Analyses, identifies and resolves technical issues in all files/projects and ensuring efficient interpretation of design drawings and installing Quality Control procedures
• Provides interface with design group, resolves Subcontractor issues, prepares reports on subcontractors and evaluates installation
• Coordinates with survey team, prepares work schedule per construction project, and collaborates with Suppliers and concrete to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
• Documents all civil field activities and performs regular inspections to check progress and safety programs

RINA is currently hiring an experienced Civil Engineer in Eastern Cape (South Africa)

Requisition:

• - Assisting all engineering Superintendents and Subcontractors, ensuring compliance to all project schedule and budgets, and evaluating all associated equipment and workforce to meet all design requirements.
• Analysing, identifying and resolving all technical issues in all files projects and ensuring efficient
  

interpretation of all design drawings and installing all Quality Control procedures in projects.

• Providing an interface with design group, resolving all issues of Subcontractors, preparing reports for all
• Subcontractors, and evaluating all installation.
  

Administering all operation for Subcontractor field activities and preparing all reports on everyday basis.

• Coordinating with survey team, preparing work schedule as per construction project, and collaborating
  

with Suppliers and concrete to ensure compliance project drawings and specifications.

• Analysing and preparing plans for permanent material requisitions.
• Designing all work plans, identifying, resolving all installation issues for civil field projects, and
  

• coordinating with procurement department to ensure adherence to all construction schedule..
  

• Documenting all civil field activities and performing regular inspection to check progress of all projects.
• Monitoring and implementing all safety program for projects for assign areas.
• Assisting in solving quality Non-Conformances in a timely and cost-effective manner
