This hands-on role involves supervising civil engineering works on construction sites, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, coordinating with contractors, and resolving technical challenges that arise during construction. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all civil engineering aspects of construction projects on site.
• Ensure that construction work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Monitor construction progress and quality, identifying and addressing any deviations or defects.
• Implement and enforce health and safety regulations on site.
• Coordinate the activities of subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Conduct site inspections, measurements, and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
• Liaise with the project manager, design team, and clients to resolve site-specific issues.

Requirements

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional registration with ECSA (Pr. Tech. Eng. or Pr. Eng.) is advantageous.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil construction supervision and site engineering.
• Proven experience in supervising earthworks, concrete structures, road construction, or similar civil works.
• Familiarity with construction methodologies, materials, and quality control procedures.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation (e.g., OHSA Act) and its application on construction sites.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
