Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a hands-on Site Engineer to oversee day-to-day operations on civil construction sites in and around Klerksdorp. You will manage site activities, coordinate with contractors, supervise technical staff and ensure efficient resource use to deliver projects safely and on schedule.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering or construction management degree and at least 3 years of supervisory experience, with a strong ability to read drawings and enforce quality and safety

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Site Engineer or in construction supervision.
• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, materials and safety practices.
• Experience in the North West region or with similar projects is advantageous.
