Job summary

Network Finance is seeking a senior Structural Engineer to lead the design, analysis and delivery of complex industrial and infrastructure projects in a regulated South African environment. You will ensure compliance with codes, oversee project planning, technical reviews and construction support, and mentor junior engineers.

You should have a Tech Degree in Civil Engineering with ECSA Professional registration, at least eight years in industrial, mining, defence, or heavy engineering, and

Qualifications

• Tech Degree in Civil Engineering and ECSA Registration (Pr Tech Eng or equivalent).
• Minimum 8 years' structural engineering experience within heavy industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis, steel and reinforced concrete design, and applicable codes.

Lead the design, analysis, and delivery of complex structural engineering projects while ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Manage project planning, technical reviews, and construction support activities. Oversee quality assurance processes, mentor junior team members, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and provide specialist structural engineering expertise across multidisciplinary projects within an industrial environment.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Tech Degree in Civil Engineering and Professional ECSA Registration (Pr Tech Eng or equivalent).
• Minimum 8 years' structural engineering experience within industrial, manufacturing, mining, defence, or heavy engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis, steel and reinforced concrete design, and applicable engineering codes and standards.
• Proficiency in Prokon, Robot Structural Analysis, Tekla Structures, Revit, and AutoCAD.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects, managing stakeholders, and mentoring junior engineering professionals.
