Job summary

Together Staffing Group in Bloemfontein seeks a Civil Engineer with a passion for sustainable water infrastructure, water demand management and conservation initiatives.

You will lead the delivery of water engineering projects from planning to completion, coordinate network zone works, and provide technical input on water conservation programs, using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and related software.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Civil Engineering.
• At least 5 years’ experience in civil engineering, preferably within the water sector.
• Practical knowledge of water demand management and water conservation projects.
• Experience administering contracts under SAICE, GCC, and FIDIC frameworks.
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency; WADISO experience will be beneficial.
• Valid South African driver’s licence.
• ECSA registration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of water engineering construction projects from planning through to completion.
• Coordinate pressure management and network zone projects, including the installation of bulk water meters, pressure reducing valves, and related infrastructure.
• Deliver technical input on water conservation and Non-Revenue Water programmes.
• Prepare feasibility studies, engineering reports, and project proposals.
• Manage procurement processes, contract documentation, and project administration.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.
• Work closely with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Utilise AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and engineering software to support project execution.
