Job summary

Facade Today is seeking a Professional Civil Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist to join our bridge design and construction team.

Based in Centurion and Krugersdorp sites, the role involves undertaking bridge design work, technical input during construction, and site inspections with strict quality control.

Qualifications

• Registered with ECSA as Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng.
• Civil Engineering qualification.
• Minimum 5 years' bridge design/construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Undertake and/or review bridge design work
• Provide technical input during construction
• Conduct site inspections and monitor quality of works
• Liaise with clients, contractors and professional teams
• Prepare technical reports and assist with project documentation
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and specifications

We are looking for a suitably qualified Professional Civil Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist to join our team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Registered with ECSA as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng
• Civil Engineering qualification
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in bridge design and/or bridge construction
• Experience with structural/civil infrastructure projects
• Ability to prepare, review and manage technical designs, drawings, reports and construction documentation
• Strong understanding of construction supervision, quality control and project implementation
• Good communication and coordination skills
