Job summary

SIGNAL HILL PRODUCTS is seeking a Blending Operator in Cape Town. You will clean and sanitize cider tanks, prepare tanks for packaging, and perform blending according to the production schedule.

Responsibilities include maintaining hygiene, following SOPs, recording data, and contributing to continuous improvement. Applicants should have a passion for brewing and be willing to work shifts as required.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• Previous brewing experience preferred.
• Brewing qualifications are advantageous.
• Passion for beer and brewing.
• Valid forklift license.
• Experience in a production environment.
• Knowledge of CIP processes and food safety.
• Own transport.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the cider plant and cider area.
• Perform base mixture with all raw materials to produce various ciders as per the production schedule.
• Perform dry hopping and other cellar additions using hygienic techniques.
• Implement SOPs while maintaining sanitation and product integrity.
• Maintain detailed records and analyses; deliver results promptly.
• Support in continuous improvement and shift coverage.
