Job summary

The South African Breweries is seeking a production-focused professional to perform essential quality checks within a designated area and support shift operations with practical problem solving for out-of-control processes. Qualifications

• At least 1-3 years factory production experience.
• Demonstrated experience in shift production.
• A disciplined work ethic with passion for problem solving and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure personal safety and the safety of others in designated area.
• Responsible for machine safe practices, PTW, LOTO and SAM.
• Accountable for all quality process checks to be done as per prescribed frequency.
• Ensure problem solving for all out-of-control processes.
• Elevate out-of-control processes to Team Leader or Process Artisan.
• Verify compliance with daily routines and execute daily schedule: production, changeovers, cleaning and lubrication, autonomous maintenance inspections and fixes.
• Operate equipment according to SOPs; own performance, indicators, uptime and quality at source.
• Train on and check the execution of standards by the operation.
• Escalate major issues to Team Leader or Process Artisan.
• Ensure quality results are captured and loaded for each shift.
• Ensure QFR and 5why are done timeously.
• Manage personal development plan.
