Job summary

MSP Staffing LTD in Centurion is seeking an experienced CICU Nursing Leader to oversee clinical and operational management of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. Lead and support the nursing team, ensure safe patient care and efficient staffing aligned with hospital policies.

The role requires a nursing diploma or BCur, SANC registration, and at least two years in a private hospital with leadership experience. Strong organizational and financial acumen are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold Diploma in General Nursing or BCur Degree (NQF 7) or equivalent.
• SANC Registration as a Registered Nurse is required.
• Intermediate computer proficiency is expected.
• Preferred management qualification to support leadership.
• Minimum 2+ years in a private hospital setting; leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical and operational management of the CICU.
• Deliver safe, effective, patient-centred nursing care.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing team.
• Monitor patient care and escalation of critically ill patients.
• Coordinate staffing and allocate resources efficiently.
• Ensure adherence to nursing standards and legislation.
• Monitor infection control, patient safety and risk management.
• Manage equipment, stock and unit resources; monitor expenses.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Maintain accurate clinical and administrative documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
