Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Business Management with a focus on childcare.
• Proven experience in a management or supervisory role within a childcare setting.
• In-depth knowledge of early childhood development principles, pedagogy, and best practices.
• Strong understanding of relevant childcare legislation and licensing requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in budget management and administrative tasks.
• Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
• Must be dedicated to providing high-quality childcare in Welkom.
• First Aid and CPR certification are required.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and provide strong references.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of daily center operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
• Manage and lead a team of childcare professionals, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
• Develop, implement, and maintain high-quality early childhood education programs and curriculum.
• Ensure compliance with all local and national regulations, licensing requirements, and safety standards.

• Manage budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation effectively.
• Conduct regular staff meetings and professional development sessions.
• Oversee health and safety protocols, including emergency preparedness and response plans.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to operations, staff, and children.
