Formación

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

About the Role

Our client, a pioneering fintech startup with a strong presence in Sandton , Gauteng, is seeking an visionary and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead their technological innovation and development. This executive position is responsible for defining and executing the company's technology strategy, overseeing all aspects of software development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and R&D. The CTO will play a crucial role in shaping the technological future of the company, ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and cutting-edge financial products. We are looking for a forward-thinking leader with deep expertise in fintech, a passion for innovation, and a proven ability to build and manage high-performing technology teams. Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the company's overall technology strategy and roadmap.
• Oversee all software development, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.

• Manage the technology budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

• Represent the company's technological vision to investors, partners, and the wider industry.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology leadership roles, with at least 5 years as a CTO or equivalent senior technology executive.
• Extensive experience in the fintech industry is highly preferred.
• Proven track record in developing and scaling complex technology platforms.
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycles, cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to articulate complex technical concepts.
