Job summary

Lesedi Nuclear Services Pty. Ltd. seeks a Head of Safety (Head of SHE) to own and drive the strategy for Safety, Health and Environment across the organisation.

Reporting to the CEO, you will set safety standards, oversee governance, and act as the external representative with regulators and clients. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• Driver's license and own transport.
• 10+ years' experience in SH&E management in industrial, engineering, construction or nuclear environments.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership/management role.
• Experience implementing and managing integrated SHE management systems.
• Experience in nuclear safety culture, human performance improvement, and industrial safety management.
• Strong knowledge of construction regulations, environmental legislation, and occupational health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategic mandate for SHE across divisions and sites.
• Report SHE performance, risk, and incidents to the CEO, EXCO, Board, and Social & Ethics Committee.
• Set enterprise-wide SHE standards and ensure divisional/site compliance with budget and strategy.
• Represent Lesedi with clients, regulators, and industry bodies on safety matters.
• Lead SHE audits, regulatory engagements, and incident investigations; drive corrective actions.
