Job summary

Lesedi Nuclear Services Pty. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer/Technologist to lead the Electrical Engineering function on nuclear design projects.

You will deliver compliant, safe electrical designs and support tendering, with oversight across multidisciplinary teams. The role requires extensive nuclear project experience, ESCA registration, and strong leadership to ensure alignment with QA and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng/BTech in Electrical Engineering.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer/Technologist with ESCA.
• Recognised Safety Evaluator status (e.g., 10 CFR 50.59 or equivalent).
• Minimum 10–15 years in multidisciplinary engineering design.
• Nuclear project experience, preferably on PWR facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review electrical designs in line with project specifications and nuclear standards.
• Manage the Electrical section and coordinate team activities; plan resources.
• Analyse client requirements, define electrical scope, and prepare procurement specs.
• Develop safety cases and ensure compliance with nuclear codes and QA standards.
• Support testing, commissioning, and project close-out activities.
