BTG Mauritius is seeking for a highly experienced Chief Operating Officer to lead the day-to-day operations of a dynamic Management Company.

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) serves as the second-in-command, reporting directly to the CEO/Managing Director with a primary role to translate high-level business strategy into daily operational reality, ensuring the firm remains compliant, efficient, and profitable.

Qualifications

• Leadership: 10+ years in executive roles with scaling ops.
• Education: degree in business/admin, MBA preferred; professional credentials help.
• Financial Acumen: strong P&L, budgeting and financial reporting.
• Strategic Vision: diagnose problems quickly and foresee regulatory issues.
• Systems Proficiency: know IT/infrastructure and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day administration, including BD, accounting, compliance, IT and onboarding systems.
• Partner with CEO to convert growth plans into operational capability and processes.
• Establish and track KPIs to measure efficiency and drive process improvements.
• Manage operational budgets and expenses to achieve targets.
• Ensure compliance with national/local regulations for licensed managers.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, partners and the Board.
• Recruit, mentor and develop high-performing management teams.
