You will drive governance, regulatory compliance and financial performance while strengthening service quality across all touchpoints.

The role emphasizes transformation, digitisation, risk management and building a high‑performance leadership team within a large, dispersed operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Management, Insurance, Risk Management or related field.
• Relevant FAIS regulatory qualifications and RE5 are advantageous.
• Postgraduate qualification, MBA or equivalent is advantageous.
• Advanced leadership and management capability appropriate to a senior head role.
• Minimum 10–15 years in short‑term insurance with extensive Non‑Motor Claims experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Non‑Motor & Claims Operations strategy aligned with Retail Claims objectives.
• Lead customer operations, regional claims, technical claims disciplines and specialised functions.
• Deliver operational excellence, claims quality and consistent customer outcomes.
• Provide oversight of claims governance, delegated authorities and quality assurance.
• Drive financial discipline, efficiency, leakage reduction and capacity utilisation.
• Lead customer experience, complaints management and continuous service improvement.
• Build leadership capability and a high‑performance culture across dispersed teams.
• Drive continuous improvement, digitisation, analytics and process transformation.
