Job summary

Limpopo Career Consortium (Limcaco) seeks a high-level IT executive with 12–15 years of progressive IT experience, including senior leadership, to drive technology strategy in a mining-adjacent environment. You will oversee OT/SCADA/IIoT integrations, ERP initiatives (SAP preferred), cloud strategy, and data governance, while steering budgeting and vendor governance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/IS/EE or equivalent.
MBA/MSc or equivalent executive degree.
Certifications in CISM, CISSP, CRISC, COBIT, ITIL, or TOGAF.
Minimum of 12 to 15 years IT experience, including 5+ years at Senior Management/executive level.
Proven track record in mining, heavy industry or capital-intensive sectors with OT/IT integration expertise.
Extensive experience integrating OT/SCADA, C&I, IIoT and enterprise IT systems.
Strategic oversight of ERP implementations (prefer SAP), cloud strategy, data governance, and big data architecture.
Understanding of IT budget management (CAPEX/OPEX), vendor governance, and outsourcing strategy.
