Job summary

Qualifications

Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
Government Certificate of Competency: Mines and Works is essential.
Professional registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist will be advantageous.
Business Leadership qualification will be advantageous.
Minimum of 10 years’ relevant engineering experience, of which at least 5 years must be at senior management level within a mining environment.
Experience in both conventional and mechanised underground mining environments, metallurgical processing, and central services will be advantageous.
Proven track record in engineering leadership, statutory compliance, asset management, maintenance optimisation, infrastructure reliability and capital project execution.
