Job summary

SNG Grant Thornton is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer to translate strategy into a focused growth agenda, leading brand, marketing, communications, client experience and business development across the firm.

The role builds market authority, identifies new opportunities, strengthens client relationships, and ensures marketing activities are aligned, measurable, and revenue-driven. Strong leadership in a professional services environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field required.
• Postgraduate qualification (Honours or MBA) advantageous.
• Professional certification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Strategic Management advantageous.
• Minimum 7–10 years' experience in marketing, communications, sales, or commercial leadership roles.
• Minimum 4–5 years' experience in a senior management or executive leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic marketing and brand management across the firm.
• Develop and execute integrated marketing and business development strategy.
• Oversee campaigns, digital marketing, and demand generation initiatives.
• Drive account-based marketing for priority accounts, sectors and service lines.
• Manage budgets, teams, and governance for marketing and BD projects.
• Foster thought leadership and market authority across the firm.
