Job summary

Exceed Human Resource Consultants seeks a CA(SA) to lead the finance function in the Western Cape. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow while partnering with the CEO and leadership to guide strategic decisions. Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the finance function, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

• Manage banking relationships, financial risk, and capital requirements.
• Lead and develop the finance team.
• Provide accurate financial reporting and insights to the CEO, Board, and shareholders.

Job Description:

• Partner with the CEO and leadership team to support strategic and commercial decision-making.

• Ensure compliance with IFRS, SARS, CIPC, and other statutory requirements.
• Maintain strong financial controls and oversee the annual audit process.
• Work closely with Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, and Procurement on pricing, profitability, and business growth.
• Manage banking relationships, financial risk, and capital requirements.
• Lead and develop the finance team.
• Provide accurate financial reporting and insights to the CEO, Board, and shareholders.

Qualifications:

• Qualified CA(SA).
• Minimum 5 years’ post-articles experience in FMCG or food/beverage manufacturing.
• Senior-level experience as a Financial Manager, Financial Director, CFO, or similar.
• Experience in product costing, margin analysis, inventory, and factory finance.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax, treasury, governance, and financial controls.
• Strong commercial, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent communication and senior stakeholder-management skills.
• Agri-food or FMCG manufacturing experience advantageous.
• Based in, or willing to relocate to, the Paarl/Wellington area and comfortable working on-site.
