Job summary

Exceed HR and Recruitment is assisting a Paarl-based FMCG manufacturer in finding a Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function across reporting, budgeting, and cash flow, partnering with the CEO and leadership to drive strategic decisions.

You will manage margins, costing, inventory, and working capital, ensure IFRS and regulatory compliance, oversee audits, and mentor the finance team while collaborating with Operations, Sales, and Procurement to support growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA(SA).
• Minimum 5 years' post-articles in FMCG or food/beverage.
• Senior-level experience as Financial Manager, Director, CFO, or similar.
• Experience in product costing, margin analysis, and factory finance.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax, treasury, governance, and controls.
• Strong commercial, analytical, and strategic thinking.
• Proven leadership and team management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Agri-food or FMCG manufacturing experience advantageous.
• Based in or relocating to Paarl/Wellington, on-site.

Responsibilities
