Job summary

NTCSA seeks a Chief Advisor Quantitative Modelling to lead energy planning studies and modelling in the energy sector. You will support medium- to long-term investment and trading strategies, perform complex analyses, and maintain energy models and related tools.

The role requires 7 years of energy analytics experience, a B degree or B Tech, and strong skills in analytical methods, BI, and modelling software. Based in Germiston, Gauteng, permanent on-site position.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Conduct modelling and analysis to support the organisation’s medium-to long-term investment and trading strategies.
• 2. Provide medium- and long-term energy planning capability.

• 4. Conduct research on energy planning methods, develop new techniques and adapt appropriate methods and techniques.
• 5. Maintain existing and new models based on specific model requirementsand changed assumptions.

• 7. Synthesize analysis findings and implications for the organisation to develop valuable insights and strategic recommendations to support the function.
