Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Chemical Project Engineer to manage capital projects from concept to commissioning at facilities in Kimberley. You will lead planning, budgeting, scheduling, and cross‑functional coordination with engineering, operations, procurement, and construction teams to deliver projects on time and safely.

The role requires strong project management skills, familiarity with P&IDs and process design, and a proven track record in the chemical industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in project engineering or project management within the chemical industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing capital projects from conception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Experience with P&IDs, process design, and equipment specification.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

About the Role
