Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 years in chemical manufacturing or process engineering.
• Experience with process simulation software (Aspen HYSYS or Chemcad) is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of process control systems and data acquisition.
• Familiar with HAZOP and process safety methodologies.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for optimization and cost reduction.
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase yield, throughput, and energy efficiency.
• Design, install, and commission new process equipment and control systems.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and provide timely technical support to the production team.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including PFDs, P&IDs, and SOPs.
• Conduct process safety assessments and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor KPIs and report findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with quality control and R&D teams to ensure product consistency and facilitate new product introductions.
• Train operators and technicians on new processes and equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing existing processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality. This is a hands‑on position requiring strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of chemical engineering principles applied in an industrial setting. Key Responsibilities
