Job summary

picknpay is seeking a dedicated cashier to provide excellent customer service at the till, accurately processing purchases and handling payments. The role includes maintaining a clean till area and adhering to company policies and cash-handling procedures.

The incumbent may transfer between stores as needed and must be prepared to work flexible shifts. The position emphasizes customer-centric service, accuracy, and teamwork, with expectations to uphold high service standards across store

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required.
• Must successfully complete numeracy screening assessments.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Willing and able to work shifts to meet operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Physically demanding.
• Pack purchased goods into checkout bags and trolleys according to the required standard.
• Use of detergents and cleaning materials/chemicals.
• Be customer minded by seeing situations through the eyes of the customer and responding positively.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills by listening attentively, responding appropriately and speaking clearly.
• Show a sense of urgency to complete tasks quickly.
• Perform routine tasks at a consistently high standard.
