Job summary

Boardroom Appointments in South Africa is seeking a Charter Coordinator to prepare costings and proposals for charters, and to liaise with Scheduling on aircraft and crew availability, ensuring cost‑effective utilisation.

You will handle charter agreements with Legal, maintain client interaction, supervise pre‑flight briefings, monitor flights, and support business development through quotes and new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent presentation and communication skills in English (spoken, read and write).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel and work after hours when required.
• Passport and health certificates (e.g. Yellow Fever) current.

Responsibilities

• Prepare costings and proposals for charters (trip cost estimates).
• Coordinate with Scheduling Manager on aircraft and crew availability and cost‑effective utilisation.
• Liaise with Legal on Charter Agreements and payment terms covered.
• Maintain regular interaction with customers to conclude Charter Agreements.
• Hold pre‑flight briefings with all concerned and monitor charter flights.
• Reconcile charter costs and ensure payment terms are met.
• Assist Manager: Charters with control of Fixed Expenses and Budget.
• Prepare presentations and reports as required.
