Job summary

Outsourced CFO Pty is seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead finance and procurement for a premier luxury hotel and residential resort, guiding modernization of financial systems and capital projects.

The role requires extensive leadership in hospitality finance, a hands-on approach, and a track record of delivering precise financial output in a fast-paced setting. You will report to the CEO/Board and collaborate with executive leadership.

Qualifications

CA(SA), CIMA or ACCA designation required.
8–10 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
Hospitality industry knowledge strongly preferred.
Hands-on, commercially astute leadership style.

Responsibilities

Finance Department & People Leadership: establish roles, clear accountabilities and service standards across finance, accounting and procurement teams.
Performance Management: coach and implement performance frameworks; build succession capacity.
Systems & Process Modernisation: integrate core financial software and procurement platforms; improve data quality and automation.
Financial Control, Risk & Procurement: oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, working capital and supplier negotiations.
Corporate Funding & Strategic Expansion: assist CEO with funding strategy, debt facilities, due diligence for acquisitions.
