Featuring a rich landmark heritage spanning over two centuries, our world-class coastal destination comprises over 300 luxury rooms and residential apartments, extensive food and beverage outlets, and dedicated wellness amenities. In this pivotal role, you will partner directly with executive leadership to modernize financial systems, optimize capital projects, and drive long-term financial growth in an exclusive luxury environment.

Key Responsibilities

Systems & Process Modernisation
  • Technology Integration: Partner with IT and operational leaders to modernize core financial software and integrated procurement platforms.
  • Data Quality & Workflow Automation: Connect hotel operating systems directly to financial platforms, eliminate redundant manual processes, and minimize spreadsheet reliance.
  • User Adoption & Efficiency Metrics: Ensure high team adoption rates while establishing measurable improvements in reporting turnaround, accuracy, and process controls.

  • Actionable Business Intelligence: Translate financial data into practical operational insights, enabling rapid decisions that support guest satisfaction and employee experience without sacrificing fiscal rigor.
Capital Projects & Property Development
  • Investment Appraisal: Lead financial feasibility assessments, investment evaluations, and strategic capital planning for refurbishments, facility expansions, and real estate development initiatives.
  • Project Budget Control: Partner with capital project teams to monitor committed expenditure, track cash outflow timelines, evaluate cost-to-complete forecasts, and mitigate budgetary risks early.
Corporate Funding & Strategic Expansion
  • Capital Structure & Debt Management: Assist the CEO in determining strategic funding needs, negotiating credit facilities with financial institutions, and monitoring debt covenant compliance.
  • Transaction Execution: Direct financial evaluation, due diligence processes, and external advisory engagements for potential property acquisitions or corporate partnerships.
Requirements Qualifications & Essential Requirements

  • Leadership Experience: 8-10 years of progressive financial executive experience, with a background presenting to executive management, boards, and property owners/investors.
  • Hospitality Acumen: In-depth knowledge of hospitality financial management and operational metrics; direct hotel sector experience is strongly preferred.
  • Operational Leadership Style: Hands-on, commercially astute executive who thrives when managing competing priorities and delivering precise financial output in a fast-paced setting.
Preferred Experience & Strong Advantages
  • Capital Projects & Transactions: Hands-on exposure to property development finance, major facility capital projects, debt financing negotiations, or corporate M&A transactions.
