Duties & Responsibilities

Role Overview : As CFO you will oversee all financial operations ensuring accurate reporting, effective cash‑flow management and robust financial systems. You’ll partner with senior leadership to provide commercial insights that shape business decisions and support sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage Finance and Administration functions including payroll, creditors and claims.
• Oversee cash‑flow budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes.
• Ensure accurate billing, revenue completeness and debtor management.
• Drive compliance through internal audits and statutory reporting.
• Implement and optimise financial systems, policies and procedures.
• Conduct feasibility studies, due diligence and performance assessments.
• Recruit, mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team.

Qualifications & Skills :

• Chartered Accountant (SAICA) designation.
• Minimum 10 years experience in senior finance roles with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with proven budgeting and forecasting expertise.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and experience implementing financial systems.
• Knowledge of taxation (including cross‑border) imports / exports and customs regulations.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
• Experience in the logistics or freight industry is highly advantageous.
