Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator certification is required.

• Proven safety and efficiency record in forklift operation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise in the warehouse.
• Inspect forklifts before and after use and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Load and unload materials onto and off of trucks and shelves.
• Ensure proper stacking and storage to maximize space and prevent damage.
• Use hand-held scanners to track inventory and update records.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations while operating the forklift.
• Communicate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and accurate counts.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisor.
