Job summary

Homechoice is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for our Endecot team in Gauteng. The role focuses on safe forklift operations, stock movement, and warehouse duties to ensure efficient flow of goods.

You will load and unload deliveries, maintain inventory records, and adhere to health and safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The position requires a valid forklift licence and the ability to work shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Grade 10/12 or equivalent.
• Valid Forklift Operator Licence/Certificate.
• 12 years' forklift operating experience.
• Experience in warehouse, logistics or manufacturing is advantageous.
• Experience loading/offloading trucks and containers.
• Good understanding of health and safety.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, move and stack materials.
• Receive and dispatch goods accurately.
• Assist with loading and offloading trucks and containers.
• Move stock to designated storage areas.
• Maintain accurate stock movement records where required.
• Follow health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Keep the warehouse clean and well-organised.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
