Placements24 in Centurion is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Mechanic to join a busy on-site workshop. You will perform a wide range of repairs and maintenance on various vehicle makes and models, upholding high standards of quality and safety.

You must hold ASE certification (or equivalent), bring 5+ years of professional experience, and be proficient with diagnostic equipment, hand tools and power tools. Strong troubleshooting and teamwork are essential to deliver reliable service.

Qualifications

• ASE-certified Automotive Mechanic with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle makes and models.
• Proficient with diagnostic equipment and common hand/power tools.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a workshop team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to identify faults and determine repair procedures.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records and document work performed on customer vehicles.
• Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to high quality standards.
