Job summary

ProDevelopment Group in Centurion, South Africa, seeks a detail-oriented Settlements Administrator to ensure accurate and timely settlement and bookkeeping transactions in line with company policy.

You will review branch settlements, perform cash reconciliations, upload and maintain customer data, and support queries. The role also involves reporting, audit support, and contributing to safety plans in the workplace.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 plus a Diploma or financial qualification.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience; Cash Management Centre experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of ERP/Accounting packages, reconciliation procedures, and banking systems; Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Quality Control & Transactions: review branch settlements and schedule EFT files to customer bank accounts.
• Cash Reconciliations: reconcile client deposits and execute daily fund transfers; submit cash withdrawal orders.
• Customer Support & Database Maintenance: upload and maintain customer data; assist queries and escalate as needed.
• Query Resolution & Training: liaise with branches to resolve settlement queries; train staff on processes.
• Reporting & Audit Support: compile liquidity reports and assist with year-end audits and investigations.
• Health and Safety: comply with safety policies and participate in safety plans.
