Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Facilities Maintenance Supervisor for our corporate campus in Centurion to lead maintenance staff, coordinate daily tasks, and ensure all building systems and grounds are kept to the highest standards.

You will implement preventative maintenance programs, manage repair schedules, and oversee contractors, delivering a safe, functional, and efficient environment for employees and visitors in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities management or a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with CMMS is a plus.
• Residency within or near Centurion is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct maintenance technicians and janitorial staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural).
• Oversee and coordinate the work of external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and projects.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage the maintenance budget, including tracking expenses and approving purchases.
• Respond to and resolve urgent facility issues and emergencies promptly and effectively.
